Two types of families to be supported
Millions of children in Bangladesh are living in very bad conditions. There is a lot of suffering in Bangladesh and there is a dire need for humanitarian aid there. Almost 1 in 4 Bangladeshis live below the poverty line, whilst 12.9% of the population live in extreme poverty.
Our work is focused on local poor families in rural areas of Bangladesh. Our work is focus on Cox's Bazar District and Sylhet District in Bangladesh.
International Waqf and Relief Foundation (IWARF) will focus on the following needy families in Bangladesh:
There are thousands of orphans in Bangladesh and this is increasing every day. Children lose their parents to accidental procedures; natural death and the majority of the orphans belong to marginalized and destitute families.
These children need support with their education, medication, clean water and food. By providing children with security and good standard of education, this will help tackle the root causes of poverty and empower the upcoming generations, and it will decrease the ratio of crime and child labour.
When you donate to this family of orphans, no reward for you except Janna as our Prophet (pbuh) stated in many places. So sponsor a family of orphan and change their life for good.
Orphan Sponsorship Project includes the following components:
Families with special needs children
This is a unique project by which we deliver enhanced education for students with disabilities to support their right to education and a normal life. At least millions of children in Bangladesh are suffering from one or more of forms of disabilities, some are genetic whilst others are due to poverty and lack of medical support.
Children with physical or learning disabilities are facing many obstacles which prevent them attending school;
At IWARF we believe that education is a basic right for all, and everyone should have equal access to it. This programme has been designed to support children with special needs by funding their families to get through their difficulties.
