Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and giving. While many of us prepare for iftar with our families, thousands of families around the world are facing this sacred month without the most basic necessities.
The International Waqf and Relief Foundation (IWARF) is striving this Ramadan to support 10,000 vulnerable families, with urgent priority given to families in Gaza who are enduring unimaginable hardship. Each family will receive a £60 Ramadan food package containing essential items to help them fast and break their fast with dignity.
Yet the need goes far beyond Gaza. Families in Yemen, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Palestine, and Somalia are also entering Ramadan under extremely harsh conditions. Soaring prices, instability, and ongoing crises have left many parents struggling to provide even a simple meal for their children.
