It has been one month since the war in Gaza.Thousands of families and children were brutally killed and some remain hospitalised with long term injuries till today. 50,000 people evacuated their homes and sought refuge in schools with many enduring long term trauma.
6 weeks in Gaza
Last 6 weeks after the end of Ramadan were very difficult on our people in Gaza. Thousands of houses and buildings were fully or partially destroyed. Hundreds of people were killed, and thousands were injured. More than 50,000 of people were displaced and forced to leave their houses to be homeless and to be stayed in public places such as the schools.
Last 6 weeks at IWARF, we provided food parcels (fruits and vegetables, bread, drinking water), medical aid, blankets and mattresses. We also focused on bringing joy and happiness to the children by entertaining them under their exceptionally distressing circumstances.
What did IWARF do in the last 6 weeks:
We have managed to reach minimum of 3000 affected families in different areas of Gaza strip through the following relief and urgent projects

Currently, we are focusing on the second process of relief by offering rehabilitation and settlement for the orphans, widows and those with special needs.
