At the International Waqf and Relief Foundation (IWARF), we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors and supporters who played a crucial role in making 2024 a year of impactful humanitarian aid. Your unwavering commitment has allowed us to reach thousands of people in crisis-stricken regions, delivering life-saving assistance where it was needed most.

Throughout 2024, we implemented humanitarian projects in several countries, including Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Bangladesh, and Lebanon. Our dedicated efforts focused on providing essential aid such as food, clean water, medical support, and shelter to those in desperate need.

 

Key Humanitarian Interventions in 2024

Ramadan 2024 Initiatives

During the blessed month of Ramadan 2024, we executed multiple relief projects to support struggling communities:
✔ Food Parcels & Hot Meals: Delivered thousands of food parcels and cooked meals to families facing food insecurity.
✔ Clean Water: Supplied clean drinking water to thousands of individuals.
✔ Fitrana Distribution: Provided Fitrana to eligible families to ensure they could celebrate Eid with dignity.

 

Qurbani 2024

We carried out Qurbani projects in multiple countries, ensuring that sacrificial meat was distributed to impoverished families who rarely have access to such protein-rich meals.

 

Winter Relief 2024

With harsh winter conditions affecting vulnerable communities, we launched Winter Projects 2024, providing essential winter supplies, including:
✔ Warm blankets and winter clothing.
✔ Heating equipment and fuel.
✔ Food packages to sustain families during the cold months.

 

Gaza: A Critical Humanitarian Focus in 2024

One of our primary areas of focus in 2024 was Palestine, particularly Gaza, which suffered a devastating humanitarian crisis due to the war. Over 80% of the population faced extreme hardship, requiring urgent assistance for basic survival. In response, IWARF launched emergency relief efforts to support those in need.

Emergency Response in Gaza

✔ Orphan Support: Continued assistance to over 400 orphans and their families, ensuring they received financial aid, education, and emotional support.

✔ Ramadan Aid: Provided food parcels, hot meals, fresh bread, and Eid gifts to over 15,000 families.

✔ Clean Water Initiative: Distributed 300 water tanks, benefiting around 300,000 people in North Gaza.

✔ Flour Distribution: Supplied flour to families in Rafah, Nuseirat, and Deir al-Balah to help sustain them amid shortages.

✔ Winter Relief: Delivered warm clothing, blankets, and winter kits to families struggling with extreme weather conditions.

✔ Medical Aid Support: Provided life-saving medical assistance to hospitals and medical centers in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City to help those injured or ill due to the crisis.

✔ Bread Distribution: Distributed over 20,000 food packs to displaced families.

✔ Cash Assistance & Fitrana: Due to logistical difficulties caused by the war, Fitrana and financial aid were distributed to help families purchase essential items.
