We aspire to complete the project before the commencement of Ramadan, aligning with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who emphasized the enduring impact of certain deeds even after one's demise. As he said,

"When the son of Adam dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three things: sadaqa jariyah (continuous charity); a beneficial knowledge; or a righteous child who prays for him."

The progress thus far stands at an impressive 90%, with the first Green Village being inhabited for the past five months. However, the second village lacks the full range of quality services due to a shortage of funds. Key aspects such as pavements, part of the water system, and the electricity system require completion.

We urgently appeal for humanitarian assistance to complete the final stage of constructing semi-permanent houses in two villages for Syrian refugees in Turkey.

Despite challenging conditions, thousands of Syrian refugees in Turkey lack safe shelters. Tents are insufficient to protect them from freezing winters and scorching summers, with many being destroyed by adverse weather.

Recognizing this critical need, the International Waqf and Relief Foundation (IWARF) initiated a project in August 2023 to build semi-permanent houses in Turkey for Syrian refugees. By the beginning of 2024, major necessities in two villages were completed, but additional support is urgently required for essential matters, including:

- Constructing fences around the two villages.

- Furnishing each of the 100 homes with a cooker, refrigerator, double bunk bed, mattresses, and kitchen tools.

- Completing the infrastructure of the villages by adding a stronger electricity system. Tiling the roads.

- Building a multi-activity hall for praying and children's activities. Establishing a kitchen facility.
