Why Yemen Needs You

Yemen is considered as one of the poorest countries and the world’s worst crisis after the war. After 7 years of conflict in Yemen, 20 million Yemenis do not have enough food or water and millions are starving to death. Our appeal to serve the needy in Yemen and tackle starvation, famine, diseases and disability for the orphans and widows.

This Civil War only exacerbated this catastrophe and caused further insult to injury, resulting in:

• Tens of children are dying every day from easily illness and preventable disease (UNICEF, WFP 2019)
• More than 80% of Yemen population need of help and support.
• Big Hunger crisis in Yemen which could be the biggest in the world.
• Two million are displaced and missed out education.
• No access to clean water sanitations.

Our Projects

We are running an Emergency Relief Programme in five different area in Sana, Hudayda and Khokha. There are nine refugee camps in these areas with 100,000 of Yemenis refugees living in there in extremely critical conditions and at the brink of survival.

How to save lives in Yemen

We need YOUR help to support orphans, widows and disabled children who are in desperate need for primary health care and life saving therapeutic food.

• Food basket (£40) includes food essentials like lentils, oil, sugar and other non-perishable foods for one family for one whole month.
• Hot meals (£2.50) for one family which includes meat or chicken.
• Bread (£1) which is essential for Yemeni people. 25 pitta breads to cover the need for a family for a full day. £1 is enough to make the family satisfied with bread for a day.
• Clean drinking water (£100) will provide 150 families for one month.
• Medical Aid Kit (£30) per family, medical aid for those facing cholera, COVID-19 and other diseases.
• Winter kit (40): clothes, blankets, mattresses to help them to live the difficult life.
• Sponsor an Orphan & Disabled Child (£30) per month as a support to the family
