Qurbani is a Compulsory Sunnah of our Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) who said, “O people, it is compulsory for every household to make a sacrifice yearly.” Hadeeth
Ensure you’re not neglecting your sunnah by giving your Qurbani (Udhiyah) today through International Waqf and Relief Foundation (IWARF) who are working in many countries around the world.
Every year, in the month of Dhul-Hijjah, Muslims around the world sacrifice a Qurbani which can be a goat, sheep or cow following the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) who was commanded by Allah to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail. Allah rewarded Ibrahim (AS) to save his son not to be slaughtered.
Qurbani is sacrificed during the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, as an act of worship. Allah says, “Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only).” (108:2)
On Eid Al Adha we should remember the needy people in Yemen, Africa, Palestine, and Kashmir who want to find joy and celebrate this special occasion. Let us help them by donating your Qurbani or at least by providing them with a Meat Eid Gift .
Gaza is different
Sadly, to tell you that we are unable to do qurbani in Gaza as we used to do before due to the very high prices and unavailability of the Qurbani, however we will not leave them alone. We already arranged many cows, sheep and lambs to be slaughters in Eid and to be distributed as meat gift in Eid. So please donate a £30 to provide this gift during the holy month of Dhul-Hijjah to the needy family in Gaza. We focus also on food parcel to be provided to the needy during the holy month of Dhul-Hijjah.
